Modern interior will be best supported by modern exterior of course. That’s why, modern garden design should be on your list to check when planning to build or renovate your home living in this near future. The difference between modern and classic garden style is more about the design and arrangement. If we talk about the plants, flowers, and maybe natural stones, you can just find them the same or at least similar from one to another. So, what kinds of design and arrangement should be applied? There are some ideas for you.
Minimalist and Simple Plants’ Cutting
Well, we cannot separate the term of modern and minimalist, they just equals each others. If you may feel familiar with minimalist style for interior design, then how about for exterior especially garden? One of the ideas is like by avoiding the use of bushy plants. Let the plants are cut and designed in simpler and more minimalist way. Simple shapes like box or maybe round is enough to give the look of beautiful yet modern over your garden. Indeed, this idea may let you cut your plants more often mainly when it looks not immaculate anymore.
Not only is it about the shape, make sure also your plants are arranged in minimalist way. You can arrange them over pots or bricks which are simple as well. And then, arrange them in a certain formation to let it neater and more sophisticated.
Fewer Types of Plants for Smaller Garden
In order to support the look of minimalist, it seems you don’t need to have too many types of plants. Okay, if those plants are still in the same or similar color, it is okay. But mainly for flowers, you may feel so interested in applying them in too many colors at once. It is not a big deal of course if you have quite large front or backyard. But if in fact what you have is small enough, of course, it will be even less beautiful but stuffy. It is not exaggerating then to consider types of flowers chosen. Don’t put too many kinds of big colors at once. Well, if you may already have some sunflowers and daffodil, for others, please choose other types of flowers which are quite small or tiny.
It is clear enough. If you are intended to put on a set of furniture in this case is patio on your garden, of course, it should be in minimalist style. It is no matter what kind of pation that will be used. To make it more stunning, consider the color applied. If your garden is dominated by green plants you can pick patio in brighter colors like red or hot pink. Meanwhile, if there are already many bright red roses, consider using the softer palette one like blush pink or light blue.
There are so many unique stuff to decorate your home living beautifully. Some of them can be used as well over your garden. They are several things like antique jars or clean-lined bricks. Whatever the types of ornaments used make sure that they are made from materials which cannot be easily corroded and weathered. Well, it is because they must be placed outside in longer time.
